Caption:
A dustpan and brush made of green mottled urea formaldehyde by Stadium of Great Britain. Encouraged by the success of phenol formaldehydes such as Bakelite, alternative resins were sought by scientists. This set is made of urea formaldehyde developed in 1931. Urea formaledhyde resins allowed a wider range of colours than the earlier phenolic resins, including light bright colours.
